Global logistics provider Dachser and digital booking platform cargo.one are now cooperating globally, enabling employees working in the air freight sector of Dachser to search for, compare and book air freight capacities across airlines with immediate confirmation.
After a successful trial phase, the logistics provider Dachser has decided to use cargo.one as their digital booking platform for air freight capacities in the spot market. With immediate effect, the cross-airline booking platform developed by cargo.one is now available to Dachser employees working in air freight export.
Cargo.one bundles global routing options on a user-friendly interface from well-known partner airlines such as Lufthansa Cargo. Proprietary interfaces provide cargo.one with live spot rates and guaranteed access to capacity and thus, enables Dachser to make air freight bookings in a matter of seconds. Cargo.one simplifies and replaces the currently time-consuming and asynchronous email and telephone booking process.
Through its cooperation with cargo.one, Dachser has taken another step towards digitalisation and the advantageous use of new technologies.
Timo Stroh, head of Global Air Freight at Dachser, emphasises the importance of their partnership with cargo.one: “Some solutions promise digital bookability, but then, usually with no access to capacity. Cargo.one offers us, in any market situation, fast and secure access to capacity based on live rates.”
“We are happy that the cargo.one platform convinced Dachser, one of the leading global logistics providers, of its many advantages, says Oliver T. Neumann, founder and managing director of cargo.one. “Cargo.one is easily usable by freight forwarders without complicated integration, while enabling rapid digitalisation, and thus securing the business of the future.”
