Saudi Airlines Cargo Company has resumed freighter service to Guangzhou (CAN) and Mumbai (BOM) from 1 April.
According to Saudia Cargo, the two cities are now each served with a weekly freighter, adding to the existing five-times weekly operation to Dhaka and seven flights a week to Hong Kong.
“This operation reflects the company’s policy aiming to enhance and increase trade activities between the Kingdom and both countries,” says Omar Hariri, CEO of Saudia Cargo.
“Saudia Cargo will mobilise its logistical capabilities to and from both destinations, adding an extra weekly freighter flight to Guangzhou operated by a Boeing 777F aircraft and another to Mumbai, operated by a Boeing 747-400F, offering estimated 100 tonnes of capacity to each destination in addition to the belly capacity on board Saudia passenger flights.”
Saudia Cargo’s belly network in Asia currently consists of 480 weekly flights to 21 destinations, representing 5,836 tonnes of capacity. The carrier offers capacity to 225 international and 26 domestic destinations.
