CharterSync says its first week of trading was an outstanding success, completing 16 time-critical air charters and generating charter options in under three minutes from request to quote for its customers.
In the first trading week, CharterSync confirmed time-critical cargo bookings on a range of aircraft, from the smaller Cessna to Antonov-12 carrying 18 tonnes. CharterSync on-boarded 15 time-critical air cargo operators in this time and continues to grow operations, it says.
The London based start-up, launched at Air Cargo Europe Munich, offers what it says is an intelligent platform expertly synchronising time-critical air charters for freight forwarders.
The platform which is accessed through desktop and on Android and Apple mobile systems, exceeded CharterSync’s expectations it says, easily coping with a diverse range of cargo specifications. Many of the bookings involved complex payload and dimensional restrictions, “but the system proved to be reliable and unphased,” it says.
“CharterSync accelerates the booking of time-critical air charter bookings for freight forwarders,” says co-Founder of CharterSync, Simon Watson. “Our platform adds transparency to cost whilst providing a gateway to the most suitable aircraft in real time.
“Our first week has exceeded expectations with the performance of the platform, and delivering ease of operation, time-saving, accuracy and cost reduction for our customers. Our industry expertise has made this possible,” Watson adds.
