China Airlines 60th

China Airlines completes its special 60th anniversary livery on six of its passenger and cargo aircraft. The Taiwanese carrier unveiled its first A350-900 with the 60th anniversary logo and livery in April as part of its anniversary celebrations this year.

The final B747-400 aircraft to feature the livery left the hangar today and will make its inaugural flight tomorrow on the Taipei-Seoul route.

The number ’60’ in China Airlines’ corporate colors of blue and red served as the inspiration for the 60th anniversary logo. The logo in the shape of ‘GO’ and the infinity sign ‘∞’ has been progressively applied to the A350-900, A330-300, B737-800, B777-300ER, B747F and B747-400 fleets.
